Window Covering Distributors, Inc Offering Roller, Motorized & Roman Shades;
Fabric Laminated, Fascia & Clutch Systems. Along with various types of fabrics, trims, and hem-styles.

We offer Roller Shades in three basic types of operation, spring, RollEase clutch systems, and Somfy Motorized systems. We stock 11 types of fabric for our Roller Shades. We offer light filtering, room darkening and open weave fabrics. In addition, we also offer custom products such as Fabric Laminated (made from customer's own fabric then laminated to a backing and made into a finished Roller Sha

de) and Wallpaper Laminated Shades. We also offer Fascia Systems and Framed Blackout Units. The Fascia Systems and Cassette Systems are also available for custom lamination. In 2012 we began to fabricate Roman Shades. We offer them in five different styles. These are shades that are made from customer's own material and fabricated with a backing to operate with Cord Lock System, Rollease Clutch System, or Somfy Motorized System. In addition to all of the above we sell to school systems and government entities throughout the Southeast distributing such things as Shade Cloth, Rollers, Brackets, etc. One thing we pride ourselves in is working with our client's individual needs. They are the Designers and we are the Creators!

Fresh off the workroom table ✂️

These custom Roman shades were recently handcrafted using Rothman Fabrics Matador Oyster sheer, creating a soft, refined look with beautiful light filtration.

Built on a cordless system for a clean, modern finish, each shade is soft-lined and meticulously detailed with hand-sewn rings and strings for lasting quality and precision. Designed as an inside mount, this treatment offers a seamless, tailored fit.

We also completed a second shade featuring a sheer checkered pattern fabric. After consulting closely with the client, we recommended lining it with the Rothman Matador Oyster sheer to allow the pattern to truly shine through without distortion.

Thoughtful design decisions like these are what help bring our clients’ vision to life exactly as intended.

There’s something special about a beautifully crafted Roman shade, and this custom piece is a perfect example of how elegant design and expert craftsmanship come together.

Recently completed here at Window Covering Distributors, this stunning classic Roman Shade was designed with a sophisticated front valance and tailored outside mount with returns, creating a clean, finished look that frames the window beautifully from every angle. Our expert seamstress meticulously matched the pattern on the valance and panel to create a seamless flow of fabric pattern without visible breaks. This is the level of detail you can expect from experts like ourselves.

The real showstopper is the fabric selection from Thibaut Design (Anna French Fabrics). The rich tones and intricate pattern bring warmth, depth, and timeless character to the room while adding just the right touch of luxury and texture.

Behind the beauty is the quality construction our customers count on. This shade was built on a smooth-operating Rollease clutch system with Dofix tape and a shrouded cord for dependable performance and refined functionality. We finished the shade with a basic white lining to provide a clean interior appearance and soft light control.

Every detail of this project was carefully considered, from the fabric placement to the tailored returns, resulting in a custom window treatment that feels both classic and elevated.

Feature strips with a splash of color are back and this one makes a statement 🌿

This custom Roman shade keeps it classic with a clean neutral body, but the real moment is happening at the bottom. The bold green feature strip (a custom fabric band chosen by our client) adds just the right amount of personality and contrast without overwhelming the space.

We love how the soft texture of the shade plays against the crisp geometry of the trim, it feels tailored, intentional, and a little unexpected.

Color is back! And we are fully embracing it with these two custom laminated, spliced Roman shades that celebrate bold expression and thoughtful craftsmanship.

The first shade features a playful “painted” fabric, an artful composition of color swatches, each paired with handwritten names that feel both nostalgic and fresh. Every section was carefully hand-matched and seamlessly spliced by our team, allowing the pattern to flow naturally across a larger scale without interruption. It feels like a designer’s sketchbook brought to life, creative, personal, and full of character.

The second shade leans into something a little more whimsical: vibrant fuchsia tigers and orange elephants, layered and repeated in perfect harmony. The richness of the colors and the precision of the pattern matching make this piece feel both bold and elevated. By laminating each panel to a blackout backing and meticulously aligning every detail, we’re able to transform a fun, expressive fabric into something refined, functional, and completely unique.

At Window Covering Distributors, we are proud to recognize the incredible people who make our company what it is and today, we’re celebrating Nga.

Nga’s journey began at just 11 years old in Vietnam, where she learned to sew from her mother, a talented seamstress. It was there that Nga discovered her passion for sewing, a passion she continued to nurture as she grew. By the age of 18, she enrolled in embroidery school to further develop her craft and refine her skills.

Later, Nga brought her talent to the United States, continuing to follow her dreams in the sewing world. She began her career with The Shady Ladies, where she spent nearly 15 years mastering her craft. Especially perfecting her expertise in Roman shades.

In 2011, when Window Covering Distributors acquired The Shady Ladies, we were introduced to Nga, and we’ve been grateful ever since. From day one, she has been the backbone of our operation.

Nga is precise, dedicated, loyal, and incredibly meticulous in everything she does. Her work speaks for itself, but what truly sets her apart is her heart. As she often says, she “just wants to make the customer happy” and that’s exactly what she does, every single day.
