Our chief. Already know the conversation that will take place when everyone shows up… “ everyone take a seat and let’s go over a few things that concern me. Progress is slow and we are not working hard enough.. if i was out here we would already be done. at this point we might as well shut shop down. these trees aren’t gonna cut themselves guys, the rakes aren’t gonna rake themselves guys. We need to work harder and be more efficient. There is no work if we lose these contracts. I should not have to baby sit grown adults. You know I love and care about yall, let’s make it happen.” And then normally a dumb question hits after that🤣 🫡

Doing some work on a sycamore tree. We raised the canopy and removed all dead branches which was a significant amount. filtered the middle out and lightened main leads. Which is crucial for the Oklahoma wind. Allows wind to move through easier and puts less strain on limbs and allows more sunlight for a healthier tree. Looking good so far, We still have to trim top and sides in to form the perfect shape and fill in some cavities/holes to keep moisture out that causes rot to prolong the lifespan of the tree. Spray fertilizer to keep pathogen infections away. Y’all have a great Sunday, and God bless you Oklahoma!
