We created a simple laundry space in an unfinished area of the basement and cleaned up the look of the 2x4 storage rack with double closet openings that has no partition between them - freestanding shelving units or totes can now be easily moved around for the client’s needs.

We used a Sanicom 1 gray water pump for the washing machine and sink. This heavy duty unit has the capacity to handle washing machine discharge directly without having to have the unsightly hose going into a utility sink. We did the cost analysis and this was a good middle of the road option for this application.

The custom vanity by in Messenger Bag gave a nice subtle contrast among the other earth tones we incorporated into this project!
