Butterfly bushes should be at the top of any forgetful gardener's list. They are rugged and easy to care for:
- They are extremely drought tolerant - no need to worry about missing a watering
- Will still thrive if you skip a year of pruning
- Can grow in really poor soil - no compost or fertilizer needed
