These beams were installed in the late 1800’s, taken from trees that grew up in the 1600’s! Very cool.

Looks like Spring is almost here!!!
I know this because the chipmunk that lives outside my office finally came back out today looking for food! 😂😊

We are currently setting up for another great season, and have some pretty cool projects coming up! This year we will be focused on providing quality and affordable deck solutions, and mixing in a few impressive outdoor living space projects as well!

Its been a while since I posted anything, and I kind of left it hanging with the project in my last post. There are several reasons for this, and I could talk about it at length. But in short; things got weird in 2020, construction got insanely busy for a while, and I decided to take a personal break from social media that lasted a little longer than I planned!

But all is good. The project from the last post went really well, and I will start sharing some nice pictures of it asap! (Starting with the teaser pic in this post. 😁) we have completed many other great projects over the past couple years, and I am excited to share those as well.

So happy spring everyone, and I hope you are ready for a great summer!!

Here is a look at our next project! We started demolition on this outdoor living space yesterday and construction begins next week!!! This project is going to look SHARP!! There will be a new deck with a roof overhead and walls that will feature a unique screening system, and a large stone patio featuring a fire pit, seat walls, pillars, and more!!!! Can’t wait to see this baby come to life! 😊

A little peek at my current construction site. 😎. This project is a garage addition for a client to use for extra storage space and a workshop. We had several variables to consider when planning this project and came to the conclusion that a shed style roof placed under the existing roof was the most cost effective and efficient way to gain the extra space on this property. Due to the slope of the existing yard, we also had quite a bit of excavation to do in order to make room for the garage and to create a walkway from the existing driveway all the way to the back of their home. And while we were there the client opted to replace some old and non functional areas with new concrete to really make the whole area functional space. Things are coming together really nicely!

Deck building really can be so much fun. I truly enjoy all of my construction projects, but a smaller job like this can be a real treat. It gives us a chance to hone in our skills and production methods, and lets us get that sweet feeling of accomplishment in a short amount of time. 😎..

Finally starting to get the feel of nice weather around here, and I am VERY much looking forward to a busy construction season in the warm sun. 😊...
This picture is a throwback to spring time last year when we put together a deck for TouchStone Builders on one of their impressive homes. .... my favorite color (in case i have not mentioned that before. 😂)

Here is my view when I get tired of staring at my computer screen for several hours. 😎...
Spending a lot of time in here lately, which means there are some big projects coming soon! Planning and organizing is a HUGE part of what I do to make things happen. Not just on projects but also for business growth. I have spent many, many years working on my business trying to get things right, and I can assure you that it is not an easy task. Especially for the type of projects that I desire to build and the quality that I must ensure I can provide. But when I step back and look at the big picture, I can start to see all of the pieces I have been working on slowly but surely come into place.

It’s that time of year when spring is in the air and the busy season for construction is about to begin. I cant wait to bust out the cargo shorts and vans again! 😎

This year is a bit more challenging for everyone right now, but I am confident that we will all push through this and come out stronger on the other side.

I have been busy the past few months working on designs, and I have some cool projects lined up that I am looking forward to sharing with you soon!

We spent last year working hard on perfecting our systems and processes for deck building, and this year we are excited to continue to deliver a high quality product and service to our clients. Although there are some serious challenges our community is facing right now, we will remain strong and continue to build and grow in business and our personal lives as well. I hope for everyone out there to be safe and smart during this tough time, and our company will adapt as needed to continue to provide our services. Through our experience we have learned that when faced with difficult trials in life we can choose to grow stronger.

The on our Kate Drive project turned out amazing!!!! So gorgeous. 😊

We used the same decking boards as the main deck above to enclose the panels, and then wrapped the structural beam with fascia to match the and give the appearance of a beam resting on the support columns... Worked out very well, and gives the final touch of class to this stunning beauty. 😎
