It is that time of year where we open our doors for the season! We are on reduced hours in March open 10-3pm weekdays, 10-2pm Saturdays. In April, we will go to our normal hours of 10-5pm weekdays, 10-4pm Saturdays.

This year we will be offering out-of-store servicing options such as pond cleanings, pond installs, and pond stocking options. More info to come on that in the upcoming weeks. 😎

Make sure your koi pond has a hole in the ice so the water can oxygenate. A de-icer is preferred, but a bubbler should work too. If your de-icer isn't keeping up with the extreme temps this week, be sure to break the ice daily.

Us at Aquatic Gardens hope you've had great success with your pond this year! We have some big things coming next year that are in the works. It is now October and we are switching to reduced hours, open 10AM-3PM weekdays, 10AM-2PM Saturday, closed Sundays. In November we will only be open on Saturdays for any last minute items.

This time of year people are buying cold weather food, cover nets to get the brunt of the leaves that fall, and de-icers/aerators for the cold months. We unplug our pumps and set up the de-icers/aerators at the end of October. Call us if you have any questions 234-209-9675

It is that time of year again ~ we are running our fish sale ~ Buy 2 get the 3rd free of any that are of equal or lesser value. This applies to any fish in our fish rows, not the fish in our display pond. We will run this sale until we put the fish away at the end of October.

Almost a frog but not quite. Tadpoles can stay in their pollywog state for months! However, once they get their legs it takes about two weeks before they are full fledged frogs.

We are much cheaper than Home Depot on our pumps and algaecides. They are selling a 40gph pump for $33, and we sell a 75gph for $20. Their algaecide is $24, ours is $20 for the same size. We also do price matching if you find a better price!

We have been slinging a lot of awesome koi and goldfish lately ~ also added pictures of some of our ponds at sunrise. It sure is shaping up to be a lovely season!

Large bullfrog tadpoles are back in stock. Trapdoor snails should be back in stock next week. Liner is back in stock tomorrow. Tropical lilies are in, including some new varieties of hardy lilies like Jakkaphong and Pigeon Blood.

This year's fish have arrived! We were able to lower the price of 3-4" premium koi from $17 to $16 each. We also lowered the price of our 24"+ koi by $100. Tropical plants will arrive from Florida at some point this week.
