Saturday, June 6th. HUGE donation day at Stark State from 9-11am!!!!

Prescription pills will be destroyed by the sheriff's department.

Hearing aids and glasses go to the Lion's Club.

Non-perishable foods will be collected by the Stark County Hunger Task Force

American flags go to Operation Flags of Freedom.

Goodwill will be collecting clothing, electronics, household items, etc. Those items will be sold in our retail stores which fund 31 local programs including r**e crisis services, adult literacy classes, job readiness, and more.

This collection of Disney ears has been sitting in a drawer for years. Now it's a colorful display in a Disney themed guest room. Love, display and honor your belongings. 🩵

Out of town this week in Orlando packing up a home and getting it fully move-ready!!!

Every box is packed and labeled.
Every room is color coded.
Furniture is mapped out on the walls.
The new home is labeled to match, so movers know exactly where everything goes the second it comes off the truck.

On moving day, I’ll be stationed at the door directing traffic so nothing gets dropped in the wrong place and no time is wasted.

The goal?
Unpack, set up, and have this home fully functional (with pictures on the walls) within 4 days. And yes… boxes gone!
This is what a “done-for-you” move looks like.

Now booking end of June.

Two years ago I started Unclutter You with a simple goal, to help people move forward in their homes and their lives.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with so many amazing humans, helping them prepare for moves, downsize, organize busy homes, and navigate overwhelming seasons of life.

What began as just me has grown. Krista joined the Unclutter You team, we have another team member joining us soon and we’re preparing to add a van so we can get even more donations in the hands of local non-profit organizations who can get it to people in need.

Along the way, I’ve realized something important: Organizing isn’t just about decluttering. It’s about helping people move forward.

That’s why I’m excited to introduce the refreshed look for Unclutter You and our new tagline:

"Organizing a Path Forward"

Whether someone is preparing for a move, downsizing a lifetime of belongings, welcoming a new chapter, or simply ready for a calmer home, our goal is always the same, to help create a clear path forward.

We have been running, lifting, and climbing stairs the past few weeks, so it was nice to sit on the floor and sort for a bit today.

People don’t always realize organizing is a major workout, hauling bins, carrying bags, and going up and down stairs all day. Today we were happy to have a project that let us sit and sort for a while.

Out of curiosity…what area of your house would require the most lifting if you tackled it?💪 Basement, garage, or closet?

ATTENTION PARENTS… I promise your kids do not want 12 years of artwork back someday.

I see this ALL the time when organizing homes. My clients have saved every single paper, drawing, and craft from preschool through middle school. The intention is beautiful… but eventually it becomes piles that feel impossible to sort.

Here’s a simple way to preserve the memories without keeping everything:

Option 1:
Pick a few favorite pieces from each year and place them in a basket or bin. Use poster putty to hang them on the wall. Have your child hold a sign with their grade and take a photo.

Option 2 (even easier):
Lay the artwork on the floor, have your child sit in the middle holding a sign with their grade, and snap a picture.

Now you have the memory preserved in one photo.

Then be like Elsa and "LET IT GO!"

You’re not throwing away the memory, you’re keeping the moment, not the clutter.

Your kids will thank you someday.
