🌟 Nursing Assistant Week 2026 is a Wrap! 🌟

This week, we had the privilege of celebrating the incredible Nursing Assistants who make such a difference in the lives of our residents every single day. Alongside our sister community, Life Care Center of Charleston, we spent the week showing our appreciation for their compassion, dedication, and hard work. 👍

Our celebrations included an ice cream parlor treat 🍨, bagels and an iced coffee bar 🧋, catered Firehouse Subs for lunch, a walking taco buffet 🌮, a fresh salad bar 🥗, and a cookout to wrap up the week 🍔! To conclude our Nursing Assistant Week festivities, each team member received a special gift, and we held basket raffles as a small token of our gratitude. 👏

Thank you to all of our nursing assistants for the kindness, patience, and care you provide every day. Thank you to our new Resident Care Coordinator, Tina Seift, for ensuring that our staff feels loved, appreciated and valued EVERY day! Your commitment helps make our community feel like home, and we are so grateful for everything you do! 🫶

🍋 A Sweet Welcome for a Wonderful Addition to Our Team! 🍋

👩‍⚕️ On Wednesday, Mikki and Deanna from Interim HealthCare of Charleston, SC hosted a refreshing lemonade bar to help us officially welcome our new Resident Care Director, Tina Seift, to our community! We are excited to have her leadership, compassion, and dedication as part of our team and look forward to the positive impact she will make in the lives of our residents.

A special thank you to Mikki and Deanna for helping make Tina's welcome so memorable! Please join us in giving Tina a warm welcome as she begins this new chapter with our community. ❤️

🛠️ Our Maintenance Director, Rick Stephens, had some extra help on the job from his 3-year-old grandson, dressed just like him and ready to get to work. Same outfit, same style, same heart for helping others. Safe to say the future of maintenance is already looking pretty bright! 👷‍♂️✨
