This major renovation was completed at the Boar’s Head Resort, where the kitchen had serious water infiltration issues that were damaging the ceiling and ballroom area below.

Our team removed the damaged structure, reinforced the joists, and installed new plywood subfloor.

To ensure long-term protection, we applied a double waterproofing system:

✔️ Liquid waterproof membrane (HydroBan) over plywood, extended 2 inches up all perimeter walls
✔️ Reinforcement mesh and waterproof membrane
✔️ Schluter® Ditra uncoupling membrane
✔️ Professional tile installation for heavy commercial use

This system provides maximum protection against water infiltration and long-term durability.
