Found a couple days to finish this... Side projects are always fun to break things up between houses.

Bent stacked laminate rail and carved cedar posts with oil finish. Started as rough sawn mahogany and turned white cedar. If looking for custom trim work or whole house trim and cabinet packages feel free to reach out.

Side Project... Not yet done, but off to a good start!

Curved 12' mahogany railing for an existing exterior staircase that never had a rail. Posts and spindles will be live cedar to match. The rail was made from an 8/4 rough piece of mahogany and then milled to match current deck rail size. Bent by creating a stacked laminate and placing in a series of forms. Rough planing and sanding completed, and time to start finishing this weekend. Hopefully get it all together with the posts and spindles in the next couple weeks.

Most of my business is new construction trim, kitchens, finished stairs, etc, and this spring has been quite busy keeping builders happy while keeping to their schedules. I don't typically sell a lot of my own work, but this has been a fun side project thus far. To those individuals who asked for quotes on remodels... I have not forgotten about you! I apologize for the wait. I take only one larger project at a time and devote my full attention to it. I'm always willing to discuss your own projects so feel free to reach out.

Wrapping up a kitchen remodel...

From working personally with the homeowners on design, and providing CAD drawings and renderings, to construction and installation, I aim to be there every step of the of the way to put all stress at ease. Whether building custom cabinets in my own shop to meet your needs, or helping with ordering manufactured cabinets from a supplier of your choosing, I will work with you to provide a quality product.

The existing kitchen felt extremely small and there was little counter top space or storage. In this project we were really able to open up the space by moving the fridge into an existing small panty that we were then able to reframe to enlarge in order to accommodate it. Then we extended the kitchen out into the room to provide more cabinets for storage, and a large peninsula for seating.

Got the opportunity to work with Lloyd & Craftsmen Custom Homes on an entire home remodel they are doing. Replaced the old box stair with carpet to a more spacious looking open stair with hardwood treads. Ready for paint and stain! Looking forward to seeing the whole project complete, and working with these folks more on this project and more.
