Happy Monday everyone, Its been a while since you have heard from us but with good reason. Rich has been very busy working for the past 6 months but it has been on the new property and getting maintenance caught up and the shop setup so we can get to the capacity we want to be for our customers.
During his time away from being hands on Rich was also busy with the town hall zoning department as well as graphic designers and we are happy to announce that we are officially able to kick off RSS Wood N' Fabrication.
Please head over to RSS Wood N' Fabrication and give us a follow as we build our new page for the custom carpentry and furntiure business. Following the page will add you to our new member giveaway.
We want to thank every one of you that has supported us this point and helped us grow.
As we proceed forward in our new location of North Grosvenordale, CT and grow the woodworking business we will be leaving this page functional and using it to continue to provide home repair and small renovations on a time available basis to all of you that brought us this far.

Rich just received pictures from the folks at Waypoint Spirits of the completed barrel from Adirondack Barrel Cooperage LLC and we had to share.
This is one of the barrel heads we burned for this customer and they had an entire barrel assembled for their wedding.
Such a beautiful piece of art

Our friends at WBS Charity Foundation are having their annual golf outing this coming weekend.
The folks in the charity do great things for veterans and service people and they are also whisky enthusiasts.
So Rich decided to donate some openers for raffle prizes. He made them from old whiskey barrel staves and personalized them with their logos.

You know the drill if you know someone who could use openers or barrel made pieces send them our way.

Happy Friday everyone,

This weekend is the CT Bridal & Wedding Expo
And this season the new craze is personalized whiskey barrel guest books. Everything pictured was made using barrels that could no longer produce whisky.
Waypoint Spirits will be at the expo with our work on display. If you are there stop and see them.

Hello everyone! It’s been too long since we have shared something.
Unfortunately Rich has been everywhere but the wood shop for the last month.
With the turn of the weather the new property has needed a lot of attention and he even got suckered into a sheet rock job for some new customers in our new town.
He’s very happy to be back in the shop and working with Waypoint Spirits on some barrel heads for wedding guest books.
This is a final mock up and test before we burn their super fancy brand new barrel for the wedding in June and we are going to be producing 3 more sample pieces for them to take the the wedding expo this June.
If you know someone getting married or would like other furniture or projects out of retired whisky barrels send them our way!

Today is the day we celebrate the amazing woman that makes our world go around
Siiri has been asking for more flower planters so Rich got to work on a new design for her.
She’s already trying to fill it and he still needs to seal it

If you know Siiri wish her a happy birthday and don’t forget Mother’s Day is around the corner if your mom is a plant lover we can make her an amazing gift she can use for years to come.

Good morning all!

We waited a few days to share to make sure that everyone in Germany received their gifts before they were shared.
There ended up being some extra requests for frames so Rich made two more!
The right is a solid chunk of quarter sawn white oak and the two on the left were made from live edge pine.
If you know someone that would like a moment or loved one engraved into a wooden picture please have them contact us.

🚨🚨🚨Future Product Alert 🚨🚨🚨
As we mentioned yesterday we are now running a laser engraver in the shop.

One of the products we will be rolling out with the addition will be solid wood pictures to order.

We will construct a wooden frame to your specifications and burn an image you send us into it.

This is a practice render for a frame Rich is making for the girls to take to Opa(grandpa) in Germany next week and we will share the finished product and begin taking orders then.

Happy Wednesday All!
We are excited to share that Rich is getting the swing of his new toy!
We recently added a laser engraving setup to our shop so we can offer personalization and company branded items to our list of products.

These are some practice burns for some logos that will be going on projects we will share real soon.

Well it’s late on a Friday but Rich really wanted to share his creations from this week on the lathe.
He really loves playing on his lathe.
He started with making drink muddlers and then his imagination took hold and he created a muddler/bottle opener/wax cutter. Prototype is a success according to him and a final version from hardwood will be shared soon. Enjoy your weekend!
