Preparing for spring by going through some lawnmowers for tune ups and repairs! Started with none of these working, now all 4 are running like new! And not just the normal carb and spark plugs, did a deep dive into the fly wheels and everything! Reach out if you're in the market for a used lawnmower that's freshly tuned!

I went to a client's house the other day for something small and noticed some new piping that had been installed in a way that really did not make sense. It worked comma but it was very clearly in a way that cut corners. Client stated they had a plumber come in to do some work. They almost asked questions but decided not to figuring they knew what they were doing. If you are not confident in what you see happening, never be afraid to question work or ask for an explanation as to why something is happening. You're paying people for a service at your house, make sure your money is being spent wisely . Just because someone has a license, does not guarantee they know what they are doing.

From old and musty carpet with a sinking subfloor to a nice new vinyl floor, what a difference it can make to a room! Ripped up the old carpet, pulled up the subfloor, fixed a issue with the ductwork, and took care a last-minute discovery of a plumbing leak before adding additional bracing, putting down new subflooring, and wrapping it up with a bow! The kids even helped on this project and got to learn a few things!

Do your doors have these tiny little screws that came with the locks from the store? Get some longer screws installed for added security, it's much harder to kick in a door that has longer screws installed! You want those screws going all the way through the frame of the door and into the studs behind it!
