ompany. We are second-generation professional tile setters with 35+ years of hands-on experience. From a young age, my brother and I learned the trade working alongside our father, a home remodeler, developing a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship. Before founding Houston Tile Works, we worked extensively in Las Vegas, Nevada, completing residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial projects, including fire stations, detention centers, City Hall, casino executive residences, and major facilities such as Anderson Dairy. Since 2012, Houston Tile Works has built a strong reputation in Texas through quality workmanship, continuous education, and integrity. We stay current with modern systems and manufacturer training, working with Schluter®, Wedi®, Laticrete®, and Ardex®, ensuring durable and code-compliant installations. Our Specialty

Curbless shower with a tileable shower drain
This curbless shower was built using a tileable shower drain, allowing the floor tile to flow continuously into the drain for a clean, modern, and seamless look.

To achieve a true curbless design, we use Schluter Systems waterproofing and drainage materials, properly integrated to maximize space, ensure correct slope, and deliver long-term water management — not shortcuts.

We are professionally trained and certified in the proper use of Schluter systems, which allows us to offer manufacturer-backed lifetime warranties when the installation is completed according to their specifications.

A client recently contacted us after purchasing a home and discovering that the shower floor was in really bad shape. They had it “repaired,” but unfortunately, it ended up looking even worse and left them feeling pretty uneasy about the whole situation. That’s when they reached out to us! We explained that just replacing the shower floor isn’t really a solution; the entire shower pan needed to be redone to ensure no water leakage issues. We ended up completely replacing the shower pan and making sure everything was watertight and perfect. We also removed and replaced the glass enclosure, leaving the client with a beautiful, leak-free shower. This project was completed in Houston, Texas!
