VISIT WITH BRUNTON AND DISCOVER HOW A FIREFIGHTER-OWNED FIRM MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE.
Public safety facilities demand architecture and interior design that perform under pressure—environments that are secure, efficient, and built to support those who serve. At Brunton, we bring both technical expertise and firsthand understanding to every project. Guided by Corey Brunton, a former firefighter with 14 years of service, we design with a clear understanding of functional requirements and emerging trends—ensuring mission-critical operations are fully supported.

Recently, Brunton hosted a team workshop focused on discovering our CliftonStrengths, led by Scott Morrell of Rebar Leadership.
Developed by Don Clifton, the CliftonStrengths assessment reveals your unique ranking across 34 talent themes—your natural patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving.
Research shows that people who understand and apply their strengths are:
• More engaged at work
• More productive in their roles
• Happier and healthier
Each member of our team completed their individual assessment, followed by a day of shared learning, alignment, and deeper connection to the people behind our mission.
One standout insight: over 50% of our team identified “Relator” as their top strength.
At first, this surprised us—but it quickly made perfect sense. At Brunton, relationships are at the core of everything we do. Whether it’s with our colleagues, clients, or partners, we prioritize trust, connection, and long-term collaboration.
By the end of the day, we walked away with a stronger understanding of ourselves and each other—and a renewed appreciation for the strengths that drive our culture.

We believe every project should reflect the community and landscape it serves. Each tribal nation carries a rich and distinct heritage. Our approach to tribal design is rooted in honoring those stories—thoughtfully integrating culture, history, and identity into every space we create. This intentionality drives us to deliver not just functional environments, but places that foster connection and create lasting impact for generations.
We’re proud to have several tribal projects currently under construction:
• Eagle Seeker Clinic – Billings, MT
• Four Bears V. Judy Brugh Community Center – New Town, ND
• Swift Eagle James G. Johnson Activity Center: People of the Willow – Mandaree, ND
If you’re attending the RES Conference, stop by booth 809 in the exhibit hall to connect with Todd Meyhoff and learn more about Brunton’s tribal design and master planning services.

Nothing beats a chair race around the office to lift the mood on a Friday afternoon! 🪑🏁
In honor of the 2026 Milan Olympics and Super Bowl weekend, we hosted our very own Brunton Games today — with teams from both offices joining in on the fun. The lineup included buffalo wings, paper airplanes, and football flicks, with chair races as the grand finale.
Great energy, great competition, and even better teamwork all around! GO TEAM!🙌

The Brunton team has been busy celebrating the holiday season with hand-packed client gifts, a holiday bake-off, an ugly sweater contest, and a bowling party. During this special time of year, we’re grateful for the opportunity to reflect on the deeper meaning of the season—one of hope, generosity, and gratitude.
We are truly thankful for the continued support of our clients, friends, and family. Your trust and encouragement are a blessing and allow us to grow and prosper. Wishing everyone a joyous holiday season as we look forward to a bright future in 2026.

Our Brunton team was honored to support the 37th Annual Minnesota American Indian Chamber of Commerce Awards Gala and Fundraiser last week at Grand Casino Hinckley. As a Table Sponsor and Exhibitor, we had a fantastic time meeting and reconnecting with so many outstanding leaders from across Minnesota—representing Tribal Governments, American Indian–owned businesses and non-profits, American Indian professionals, and the many federal, state, and local organizations, companies, and agencies committed to supporting, buying from, or partnering with American Indian–owned businesses.
A big congratulations to the MAICC Board of Directors and all the volunteers whose hard work made this event such a success.
