My name is Karen Tigue and I am passionate about gardening. I started Karen For Your Garden to do what I love and show others how to create their dream garden. I'm happy to do the work, but I want to inspire and encourage others to learn how to grow and care for the flowers and shrubs in their yard. Your gardens should welcome you home, give you a place to relax and make you proud and comfortable

to entertain in your outdoor living space. Growing up, I learned from my folks to build on foundation shrubs and trees. They planted about 300 flats of annuals. Gorgeous but a lot of work! After acquiring my own home, I too was planting a ton of annuals. Then I met Mrs. Morey who lived two doors down from me. I will never forget her green camouflage garden vest. She opened my world up to the world of perennials. I have been obsessed with gardening every since. That was over 20 years ago. As your personal gardener, I offer custom planters, hanging baskets and window boxes. Seasonal packages are also available. Other services are garden design, maintenance and seasonal plantings. A manicured lawn might look nice, but messy is better for birds and bugs.
