I just read a great line, and while it was referring to something completely unrelated to our trade, it’s an appropriate comment:

Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast.

We see a lot of speed merchants on the job, and almost all have to go back and do repairs or touch-ups. Or they run into difficulties that could have been avoided with a little planning.

I’ve told one wallcovering installer I work with occasionally, “Slow down. You’ll get more done.”

Plan your job out, and work methodically. It’ll keep you moving forward.

Finished up these pieces as well! Love the hardware on these ones! (The stain job isn't too bad either 😉)
