Its the perfect time for your annual cleaning and tune ups on your heating system or to take care of those small plumbing repairs. With the owner being in town it will be a great time to get a free estimate on those bigger jobs. We will be in town on the 27th & 28th of April, we still have a couple of spots left for our Delta Trip next week. Due to the increasing cost of travel and accomadations we have unfortunatly have added a $75 fee for Delta so that we may contionue to provide service for our out of area customers . Alaska Best Plumbing & Heating is hiring office staff for dispatching, invoicing, and helping with parts. Hours are Mon-Fri 8am - 4pm and our office is located in North Pole. We are family friendly, offer paid holidays and vacation, 401K after 1 year, and various other benefits. We need someone who will show up to work, is able to be organized and stay on task, is a self manager and can handle both busy and slow times while getting tasks done. Prefer customer service and computer experience, we will train on everything else. Pay is $18 - $22 per hour depending on experience. To be clear, this is a fairly easy job that requires no college, no experience, and we are a small family owned business so there is not much room for promotion until I am ready to retire in a couple of years. We have been having alot of issues lately with calling our wonderful customers. We suspect the problem is for our iphone users and the recent call screening feature.

That new iPhone prompt is likely the "Call Screening" feature in iOS 26 (or later), which uses Apple Intelligence to identify unknown callers and asks them for their name/reason for calling, showing you a live transcript so you can decide to answer, type a reply, or decline, stopping spam before it rings your phone. You can manage this in Settings > Phone > Screen Unknown Callers, choosing to "Ask Reason for Calling" or silence them
