No better way to start the week than with a roof build! Jake is in St. Paul today putting on a new IKO Dynasty roof for this homeowner — and the timing couldn’t be much better after the hail that rolled through Friday night.

Our reps have been busy all weekend climbing roofs and completing inspections, and we’ve found good storm damage in Roseville, Falcon Heights, East St. Paul, and parts of Oakdale.

⚠️ Another round of hail moved through the east metro last night, with reports in Oakdale, St. Paul, Maplewood, Roseville, and Falcon Heights. The attached hail map shows some of the areas that may have been impacted the hardest.

If your home was in the path of the storm, now is a good time to have your roof, siding, gutters, and windows checked for damage. Hail damage isn’t always obvious from the ground, and catching it early can help prevent bigger issues down the road.

As storm activity picks up, you may start seeing out-of-town contractors knocking on doors. We always encourage homeowners to do their research and work with a company they know and trust.

⚠️ STORM DAMAGE ALERT FOR CHISAGO CITY, CENTER CITY & LINDSTROM ⚠️

Last night's storm brought damaging hail and high winds to the area, with some of the largest hail reports coming from Chisago City, Center City, and Lindstrom - see the photo below from one of our homeowners in Chisago.

🌨️ Hail up to 1.75" was reported in these communities—large enough to damage roofing, siding, gutters, windows, and other exterior surfaces.

As homeowners begin assessing potential storm damage, it's important to be aware that severe weather often attracts out-of-town "storm chasers" who follow storms from community to community. While many may seem friendly and professional, they often leave the area as soon as their projects are completed, making it difficult to reach them if issues arise later.
