I designed my micro, guest-bedroom after being inspired by the incredible storms here in the high desert/mountains. This art and pampas grass perfectly capture the vibe of the desert storms and the view from the top of my neighborhood that looks over Salt Lake. The candles flickering against the art almost looks like lightening!

Today certainly feels like the first day of Fall here in the mountains with a day full of lightening and thunderstorms ahead! It makes me want to snuggle up and read in a nook like this!
I converted a boring and bland hall to a cozy, moody reading nook in my clients home. I like to treat every space as an opportunity for something special and beautiful. We added Venetian plaster for depth, an antique rug for character, fur and pillows for more texture and coziness and art that’s meaningful to the family living here. It’s the perfect spot to snuggle up and relax. Swipe all the way left for the before picture!

A few more shots of my client’s mountain-modern entryway. It’s complete with a charcoal Venetian plaster ceiling, cowhide rug, stone, and pearled “reptile skin” wallpaper. It’s packed with tons of texture to add dimension to this mostly monochromatic space! The light is the most magical light and adds the most incredible reflections that dance on the ceiling and walls! Happy Sunday!

Who else is over this intense heat wave and ready for Fall and “cozy” cooking weather!? I love cooking all the rich stews, hearty roasts and baked (keto) goodies!
My client’s butler’s pantry/prep kitchen is the perfect space for storing items and prepping for meals without trashing the main kitchen for when guests come! The walls are adorned in Pearly, glazed handmade tiles and the ceiling in a metallic, basket-weave real cork wallpaper. Slide photos to the left to see more!

I did a little accessory refresh in my clients kitchen! I styled using items that she already had and purchased a few others to complete the look! It sure looks ready for “cozy season!”

2022 has been one of the best and most life changing years yet! I’m looking forward to even more massive changes happening in the next few months!! Designs by Molly Hannah is headed to the Nashville area later this Fall! I will be opening my books for appointments there in the next month or so! As always, I work and service many areas across the county and that won’t be changing! I’m excited to hear from you! Looking forward to the future and all it has to offer!
