When we use the ZIP system, we make sure every plywood seam gets rolled tight after taping. Then we take an often overlooked step—liquid flashing every nail hole.

That extra step helps create a solid air and v***r barrier for the house right from the framing stage. Small details now make a big difference later. 🛠️🏠

This entry is starting to show what this house is really about.

Two-story foyer, full panel molding, and a ton of natural light — even at this stage, the scale hits you the second you walk in. This is one of those spaces that makes the whole house feel bigger and more intentional.

Still a lot to come here, but the bones are right where they need to be.

Every jobsite throws you a curveball — especially in New England.
On this project, we hit groundwater higher than expected during the cellar hole excavation. Instead of forcing it, we adapted the right way.

We raised the entire house elevation, brought in 2–4” crushed stone, topped it with 1.5” stone, and brought the pad up a full 6” above the current water table. We’re also installing interior and exterior French drains and a 10-mil v***r retarder under the slab for long-term protection.

A smooth home build isn’t about never hitting challenges…
it’s about solving them the right way.
