Join us for the 36th Annual Spring Golf Outing hosted by the Wilkes Yadkin Home Builders Association

📍 Teams and individual players welcome

💲 $80 per person or $320 per team
🎁 OCC gift certificate prizes for gross and net winners
🏌️ Closest to the pin and longest drive contests

Hole sponsorships are available for $50 per hole and there are additional sponsorship opportunities including prizes, goodie bags, raffle items, and more

✨ Meet the Builder was a hit ✨
The Wilkes Yadkin Home Builders Association kicked off January 2026 with a “Meet the Builder” event and the word everyone used afterward was really successful.
This format was a fantastic way for Builders to strengthen their bench of trusted Trades partners and for Associate Members to get face time with a variety of Builders. Connections that could have taken days or weeks to schedule happened in one well organized evening.
A dozen Associate Members hosted small tables showcasing their products and services. About a dozen Builders rotated through each table spending five focused minutes getting to know one another before the call to rotate. In under 90 minutes, this fast paced networking style event often compared to speed dating sparked real conversations, meaningful connections, and plenty of follow up plans.
Both Builders and Associates left energized and excited. A great example of how intentional networking creates real value for our members. 👏

📣 Calling All Builder Members 🏗️

The Wilkes Yadkin Home Builders Association is trying a new networking format at our January meeting, and we’re looking for Builder volunteers to participate.

📅 Thursday, January 22
🕠 5:30 pm
📍 Smokehouse

We’re hosting a Meet the Builder event designed to make networking easy and efficient. Think speed networking style. Associate members stay seated while Builders rotate every 5–7 minutes. You’ll meet multiple Associates in about an hour, take notes on who you may want to follow up with later, then enjoy light finger foods and casual networking afterward.

🏌️‍♂️⛳ What a Day on the Green! ⛳🏌️‍♀️

This past Friday, we hosted our 35th Annual Home Builders Golf Tournament at Oakwoods Country Club, and it was a "fun(d)-raiser" to remember! 🎉

With 26 teams, 100 hole sponsors, and additional amazing support, we had a fantastic turnout to help raise funds for the Joe Faw Scholarship Fund, SkillsUSA, and several local and area nonprofits. 💙

Three of our Wilkes-Yadkin HBA member companies placed in the top 4 prize categories — way to go!
