Just designed and installed an ‘Outdoor Classroom’ at Northbrook Junior High. Special thanks to Manuel Ruiz Landscaping LLC for the outstanding stone work. Can’t wait to see the plants grow and mature… and I hope this space will help the students do the same!

VEGETABLE GARDENERS! Now is the time to start your seeds indoors. These little peat pots (available at garden centers and hardware stores) make perfect seed-starters. Once the plants have sprouted and danger of frost has passed, you can plant them, peat pot and all, in your garden plot, raised bed, or flower pot. Easy ‘Pea’-sy!

🌳 Green City Gardens is proud to announce that it has earned the home service industry’s coveted Angie’s List Super Service Award (SSA)! This award honors service professionals who have maintained exceptional service ratings and reviews on Angie’s List in 2019.

Angie’s List Super Service Award 2019 winners have met strict eligibility requirements, which include maintaining an “A” rating in overall grade, recent grade and review period grade. The SSA winners must be in good standing with Angie’s List and undergo additional screening.

Green City Gardens has been listed on Angie’s List since 2009. This is the seventh year Green City Gardens has received this honor.
