This week in our series, we’re highlighting one of the biggest transformations: the windows. We added additional windows to the main level and replaced the old ones with brand-new, energy-efficient upgrades—and the difference is night and day.

The space is now brighter, more inviting, and filled with natural light that completely changes how it feels to live in. Stay tuned as we continue breaking down each part of this transformation!

A client had all their utilities sitting out in the open in the pole barn—cold, exposed, and not ideal. We framed out a dedicated utility room, insulated it properly, and turned it into a sealed, heated space that’s built to handle the elements.

Now everything’s protected, organized, and built to last through those cold months.

Hidden details make the best transformations.

This week’s spotlight: the original chimney we uncovered after years hidden behind plaster. What was once completely covered is now a standout feature—carefully cleaned, restored, and brought back to life.

Not only does it add a unique, timeless character to the space, but it also preserves a piece of the home’s history that’s been there since day one. Sometimes the best upgrades aren’t new—they’re rediscovered.

Another great project completed for one of our clients!

We were tasked with making some necessary updates to an existing pole barn to make it more functional for the arrival of its new tenants - horses!

This week’s spotlight in our main level remodel series is the study — a space that’s been completely reimagined. What was once a simple workout room with a single bookshelf is now a warm, modern haven designed for focus and comfort.

By adding a second large bookshelf and elevating the overall design, we created a balanced, inviting space that feels both functional and sophisticated.

Stay tuned as we continue to reveal each transformed corner of this home.

We took this existing closet and transformed it into a clean, functional storage space. By reworking the layout and maximizing every inch, we turned a basic storage area into an organized system that not only looks better—but works better too.

Thinking about upgrading your closet? Let’s build something that fits your space and your lifestyle.

Before any tools are used or walls are broken into, there is a lot of planning work that needs to be completed to ensure the project runs smoothly and the desired remodeled vision is achievable.

A few things specific to this remodel that had to be vetted and completed prior to the start of the project were:

* Testing the spaces for lead paint and asbestos - if found to be present, these areas would need to be contained and materials disposed of per regulations to protect both workers and occupants of the home.

* Consulting with a structural engineer to make sure it would be possible to remove load-bearing walls and create a design detailing how these loads would be safely re-supported and transferred.

With any project or remodel, specifically, we also have to:

* Create a floor plan layout detailing what the completed space would look like and the changes that would be made

* Put together a project budget and work schedule

* Submit for and secure construction permits

The planning phase is one of the most, if not the most, important phases of the overall project. Work done in this phase sets the foundation and road map for how to successfully achieve a professional and desired result the homeowner is happy with.

Exciting news! Our team is now officially Certified Lead-Safe Renovators.

Under federal regulations, all homes built before 1978 must be tested for lead-based paint prior to renovating. When lead is present, special safety procedures are required to protect families and workers during renovations.

Lead exposure is especially dangerous for children 6 years old and younger, potentially causing serious health complications that can affect growth and development.

With our new certification, we’re committed to keeping every renovation safe, healthy, and compliant — protecting both homes and the people who live in them.

Our company began as a passion project for Mike and his oldest son, Logan. After years in the industry, we decided to build something of our own - rooted in craftsmanship, integrity, and the kind of service we’d want for our own homes. Mike has worked in residential construction and the closet/storage industry since 2000, and Logan serves as a company partner, helping lead projects from start to finish. Mike’s youngest son, Zak, is also on the team and helps with day to day operations and projects.

Every project we complete is done honestly, professionally, and to the highest standard. We believe clear communication and transparency throughout the life of a project are essential to delivering a final result that our customers are happy with.

If you’re looking to renovate your existing space, build a new one, or need help with small repairs or updates around your home, our family is ready to help!
