Basement walls had a 6 inch deflection. Inspector said fix it, knowing there's no current solution under $20,000. He said as long as it doesn't bow anymore then it is now, the house won't be condemned and torn down.
I embedded iron beams 2 ft into the basement floor, came up with a solution for the top that had enough force to hold back the walls, and made it adjustable. And this is what we have. Client was very happy we saved his flip.

This place was a wreck. Multiple contractors wouldnt touch it. The front wall of the house was so rotted from a bad window install you could squeeze the framing underneath it would crumble. Bathroom floor joists were also rotted and the floor was falling in the basement with the basement block walls bowing in. A total tear out, everything new. Now she's beautiful...Hammonds Home Services people, it's just what we do
