My dad put this door in for my grandfather when he was 17... He remembered it because they sent the wrong size tube for the springs so he had to couple two tubes together in the middle ? Once I changed the spring and he saw the washer behind the carriage bolt for the outside handle ? He was 100% sure it was a door he did because he was the only one that worked for my grandfather that did this... I'm sure he never would have thought his son would be fixing it 55 years later...
