Our front yard woke up this week, bringing joy when most needed! The magnolia tree should explode larer this week, about 2 weeks earlier than normal (used to be around April 15th) , and I always pray there won’t be a heavy frost to zap the blooms which has happened in recent years. That is not a pretty sight! Most early spring flowers such as andromeda, forsythia, daffodils, and pansies have a built-in antifreeze, but magnolias do not. South Norwalk, CT.
