We are looking to hire a Carpenter's Helper. A background in construction is preferred, with knowledge of tools, construction and basic mechanical skills a plus. Our main focus is hiring "high-character" individuals. Honesty methods, integrity and a desire to learn will go a long way.

Job duties will consist of setting up/breaking down tools and equipment, assisting carpenters, as well as an expectation to learn and grow skills.

All applicants will be asked to fill out a formal application and will be subject to a background check. Transportation to and from the job sites in the Norwalk area will be required, as well as a valid driver's license. W2 & 1099 available.

“It puts the lotion in the basket or else it gets the hose again.”

We replaced the basement stairs on this project. When possible, we build housed stringers, pre-assembling the entire stair case and dropping it in place. Because the surrounding walls were block, we bolted 2x material to the block to support 5/4” pine stringers. We had to send a guy in the hole, drop the stairs in place, mark the location of the stringers, then attach the 2x.
