Our client had flooring installed a few years ago, and unfortunately it wasn’t done right. The biggest concern was finding something that would match the rest of the house without having to redo everything.
We took the time to track down a color that blended as close as possible but more importantly, we focused on what was underneath.
We prepped the subfloor properly with redgard , added new plywood and underlayment, and made sure everything was set up the way it should’ve been from the beginning.
We ended up installing throughout three bedrooms and the hallway along with new baseboards and casing and the final result came together beautifully.
I always say flooring might seem simple, but the prep is everything. That’s usually where things go wrong.
One thing we’ve learned over the years is that the cheapest option upfront isn’t always the best long-term decision. When pricing seems too good to be true, it usually means something is being skipped or rushed behind the scenes and unfortunately, we see that more often than people realize.
That’s why we focus on doing it right, even if it takes a little more time. The goal is always something that lasts.
