A few weeks ago, Brittney and Tara were kind enough to welcome a film crew from the Fidelity Investments ongoing podcast Money Unscripted to shoot a very special episode featuring my one and only husband. For those in the area that day, thank you for your patience. It took a while and we had to do a lot of shooshing.

This morning, the segment was released, and it turned out fantastic! It's an informative segment about preparing for retirement in the midst of volatility.

Why was it filmed at Shiplap? Because Ted recently retired from his job and one of his post retirement goals is to help with the business. Including, making everything look neat and tidy, if the segment is to be believed. I am going to hold him to that!

All kidding aside, we are so grateful to our friends Ally and Jess for asking us to be interviewed, and to the crew at Fidelity. You can check out the segment here.

Brought in some new lamps and small items for my shop located inside Simply Shiplap Norfolk. Also, check out these stone bracelets offered by Mom Rocks! ✨️and✨️ these hand painted stones by local educator (and awesome sister-in-law) Mrs. Grant.

I really need to come up with a better name for her rocks. Totally open to suggestions haha

Anyway, per Mrs. Grant, your homework is to come check out all we have to offer this weekend....or else DETENTION! 😁

Restocked my White Tea candles and brought in a few new items before I venture off into the sunset, well, Europe next week! Can't wait to see what I find there to bring back for the shops 😀
