I been in this game long enough to learn a few things the hard way… so here it is.

THE 10 LAWN CARE COMMANDMENTS. 🌱💯

#1 — THOU SHALL SHOW UP.
Talent don’t mean nothing if the customer can’t depend on you. If you say you’re coming — COME.

#2 — THOU SHALL NEVER LEAVE A MESS.
Anybody can cut grass. Professionals leave the property cleaner than they found it.

#3 — THOU SHALL RESPECT THE STRIPE.
Straight lines. Clean cuts. Take pride in what your mower leaves behind.

#4 — THOU SHALL NOT SKIP THE EDGES.
The difference between “somebody cut my grass” and “DAMN, that yard looks good” is in the details.

#5 — THOU SHALL KNOW YOUR WORTH.
Stop racing everybody to the cheapest price. Good work costs money. Charge fair and DELIVER MORE.

#6 — THOU SHALL RESPECT THE CUSTOMER’S PROPERTY LIKE YOUR OWN.
Their house. Their yard. Their money. Treat all three with respect.

#7 — THOU SHALL MAINTAIN THY EQUIPMENT.
Your mower feeds your family. Your trimmer makes you money. Take care of your equipment and it’ll take care of you.

#8 — THOU SHALL NEVER LET ONE BAD DAY BECOME BAD WORK.
Hot, tired, frustrated, behind schedule — the customer still deserves the job you promised.

#9 — THOU SHALL LET THY WORK SPEAK.
You don’t have to tell everybody you’re the best. Leave a property looking so damn good the neighbors come asking WHO DID IT.

#10 — THOU SHALL REMEMBER WHY YOU STARTED.
This ain’t just grass. It’s your NAME riding around on that truck. It’s your reputation. It’s food on the table. It’s something you’re BUILDING.

Do good work.
Keep your word.
Take care of people.
