Wacky plant Wednesday goes out to a new pothos on the block here at Foliage & Flora! 🥰 Her name is the “Lizard Queen” pothos!

The “Lizard Queen” variety of Pothos is known for its green and yellow leaves that are marked with irregular patches of white, creating a beautiful and intricate pattern that resembles reptile scales 🦎🦎

Giving your Lizard Queen medium to bright indirect light along with a well draining soil mix is the perfect blend! They like to have the first couple inches of soil dry before being watered and are considered toxic to humans and animals 🫶

This trailing Tuesday goes out to the Burro’s Tail, Sedum morganianum!

This plant is super easy care!! Because of its trailing stems, burro’s tail is best grown in containers where the stems can hang down vertically. Hanging baskets, urns, or large pots on pedestals all showcase the pendant stems. Fill a container shaped like a head to look like you have hair! Indoors where conditions are good, individual plants may last for decades!! Outdoors they can be used as seasonal hanging plants where protected from strong wind!

Did you know the Burro’s tail was given the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit in 1993?! That’s pretty sweet 😎😎

I want someone to look at me the way I look at Hoyas 😂 😂

Listen, for a no-fuss succulent vine, the Hoya pubicalyx is one of those must-have houseplants. It produces beautiful fragrant flowers. The plant has deep green lanceolate leaves. Sometimes you even find the foliage decorated with greyish specks and purplish-gray stems. Easy care, beautiful flowers, beautiful foliage, yes please!!!

These Scindapsus Pictus ‘Exotica’ are quite the show stopper 🙌🏼 not only are they great trailing plants, they have the most amazing shimmer when the light hits the splashed variegation on their thick heart shaped leaves 😍

‼️ Also similar to pothos and Philodendron, plants in the Scindapsus genus are considered toxic to cats and dogs, please be cautious if you have furry friends at home 💚

Come by, we are open till 6 🪴

PS we still have slots available for our kokedama workshop this coming Sunday! We can’t wait to get crafty with you 🙌🏼
