There is nothing wrong with starting Christmas before Halloween! 😆

It’s that time of year again, when pumpkins adorn porches and Christmas music plays while we decide what to make for Thanksgiving dinner.

The holidays tend to run into each other a bit.

And if you find yourself watching Home Alone while carving your pumpkin this year, I just want to say…

Go for it.
Seriously.
Go. For. It.

In my 43 years, I’ve learned this:

If you want to celebrate something when the world doesn’t, if you want to decorate for Christmas in the fall, if you want to leave your tree up all year, if you want to play Halloween music in the spring, if you want to scrape your frozen, melted pumpkins off your porch in the winter…

go for it.

You don’t owe anyone an explanation for your joy.
Period.

Because life is hard enough as it is. Let joy show up whenever it wants to.

There’s no wrong season for that.
