Bill and Stella Riechmann opened Bill's Service Center, Inc., in the garage and basement of their home in 1973. When the business grew, they purchased additional property across the street. Bill's Service Center outgrew both properties and the company moved to its current location in 1989.

We are open for business again. Until further notice, we are not accepting new service work. Although the fire that destroyed our warehouse did not affect our main building that houses the parts department, shop and office, the demolition and clean-up process will require extra room for heavy equipment and dumpsters. Please do not drive any vehicle or vehicle with trailer past our gates through the "loop" or to the back of our property. We will load trucks and trailers in the parking lot. Another update will be posted next week.

During the clean-up, the parts department and shop* will function as normal. As we posted yesterday, it appears that only one customer unit was lost in the fire. That customer was contacted and he understands the situation. At this time, we believe that one other unit suffered minor damage, mostly cosmetic, from the heat.

* The hydraulic press that we used to install replacement solid tires was lost in the fire. If you need solid tires installed in the near future, please check with other shops.

Bill's Service Center will be temporarily closed due to a fire which was contained to our back storage building. Most customers equipment was not affected, we will be reaching out to our customers as soon as we can. Please be patient with us, thank you.

Update 9:15am
At this time we have found two customers mowers that were affected by the fire. Those customers will be contacted in 48 hours.

Rental Counter Clerk - Applicants must have basic computer and office skills to process rental agreements and file paperwork accurately. Interaction with customers in person and over the phone will take place throughout the day in a fast-paced setting. Applicants must be dependable and adaptable. Knowledge of tools and small equipment preferred, but not required. This position also supports other staff by helping answering phones, taking messages, sales of common stock items, restocking, & light cleaning of displays and equipment.
