Why He Was Made: Defying the Legacy
Rooter looked around. He saw Dwayne and Allen, Brian and Samantha, fathers and sons, family. In his mechanical mind, something that looked almost like an emotion—jealousy—took form. If this world was built on legacy, why should a warrior be denied his?
He didn't wait for fate; he went to the workshop. That night, Rooter determined he would create his own heir, a machine built, not born, precision-engineered to carry on the fight after he could no longer stand.
The Assembly: The Build Process
The Spine of Steel: Rooter forged the core out of high-strength, flexible metal, designed to be more maneuverable than his own heavier frame. This "son" would need to go where he could not.
The Heart and Soul: In place of a biological heart, he installed a precise, smart brushless motor—just like the one you want to upgrade your Spartan 1065 with—to power the new warrior’s hydraulic systems.
The Warrior’s Armor: The outer plating was layered, smaller, and contoured for action. Rooter personally hand-poured "old school" lead and oakum joints—a technique Dwayne taught his own son, Allen—to seal the hydraulic connections. It was a trade method used on cast iron, now adapted for a machine.
The Final Breath: The eyes were set, and a large, stylized 'W' (for Warrior) was applied to the chest armor, in the perfect high-gloss green and blue utility color code Dwayne demands.

The Look-Alike Gear: He carries miniature versions of Rooter's high-end equipment: a scaled-down hydro-jetter nozzle and a smaller shield featuring the interlocking 'DF' logo.
The Core Conflict: This is the key "edge" to your story. The smaller design—intended by Rooter for agility—is a source of secret frustration for the son. He is precisely engineered, but he always feels in his father’s shadow, which is the exact "Power Move" and badass legacy you were aiming for.
