Went to a # and found the glass was sooted lower sides again we found that the book call for 4 screws per termination and had two and no sealant on the flex connections causing mixing, it's sad that the big companies can't do the little things needed to make sure they last as per manufacturers book with ever unit. We take alot of pride in our work and go the extra to make sure we check all boxes before we ever walk away like this. We were also told the unit was serviced by the same company a year ago and for this injector to be completely rusted-corroded and we can see it wasnt touched we get into ever gas service and make sure they are all clean for outer clients it take extra but thats what we do for everyone. #

We went for a gas service customer states has no pilot light. We get onsite found the pilot didn't have the correct screws holding it down. Both sides of the pilot tube were loose causing leaking fuel out of the connections it was there for the last 15 years like this. Glad they made the call.
We replaced the pilot while we did the service works great now.
Didn't like the t-stat two feet away from the unit or the two openable windows close to the exhaust we informed them of this and codes.

We visited another service and determined the pilot assembly was the wrong one and installed too high for the runners and not securely mounted. This unit was older and heavily sooted; we installed the correct assembly and made necessary adjustments to ensure proper function for the client.
