Today was the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Veteran's Memorial in River Grove, IL. Our Triton College Architecture students worked on this 10 years ago, and Mike Warchol tirelessly campaigned for this project. The 2 students who won the competition (and combined their ideas) were there, as well as many dignitaries. In this video news clip, you can see me holding a golden shovel, my first ground breaking. We look forward to seeing it constructed, with a ribbon cutting on Veteran's Day in November.

One of the funnest parts of a small tight kitchen is getting the details to fit just right. This client kept talking about a place for her keys, coupons, stuff that comes in the back door. This is what we came up with, a hidden message center. She loves it as do we.

This project was an entire apartment remodel in a Vintage 1920's building. I worked with the talented Andrew Schultz on this project. This first set of images is the kitchen /butler's pantry beforehand, and then after our clean modern remodel.

Bi-Annual meeting in Nappanee with our wonderful cabinet makers. Lots of good food, treats, camaraderie, and buggy ride at dusk to the local ice cream parlor. Always wonderful to see how well these cabinets are made, I never tire of touring the factory.
