Two storefronts. One crew. Chester, PA. 🏗️

J. Gift Construction was brought in to renovate the entire commercial block — Ada's African Hair Braiding and Dream Event Space, side by side on the main strip in Chester.

We handled it all: Exterior facade work, storefront framing, curb adjustments, full interior demo, and build-out from bare concrete to finished space.
Both businesses are open and looking sharp.

Just wrapped up a small structural repair job for THE best real estate agent in Philadelphia, Billy Smith. Paint was stripped off then surface grinded down to the bare cmu in the sections where the Carbon Strapping went. The repair was down in order to stop any further shifting due to a lateral crack in the cmu foundation wall.
*Everything done was to the engineers specs*

Off to a solid first day on this storefront renovation.

We got the old overhead doors removed (those things felt like they weighed a million pounds 😅) and took out the existing knee walls and storefront framing to prep for the next phase.

Before calling it a day, we made sure everything was properly boarded up and fully secured so the site stays safe and protected overnight until we’re back at it.

Progress is rolling—looking forward to bringing this one back to life.

You're going to have to just TRUST the process!

We’re taking the bland facade on these two outdated storefronts and transforming them with Corten Rust Wall panels and new modern storefront glass with black trim — clean lines, modern contrast, and a whole new look from the sidewalk.

Mold Removal & Investigation Prep 🛠️

On this job, we removed the mold-affected drywall down to the joists, fully cleaned the area, and prepped the space so the plumbing issue causing the problem could be properly identified and addressed.

Really loved how this one came together.

The homeowner had a bold vision with the wall color, and we focused on bringing everything together clean and balanced so it still feels bright and functional.

To finish it off, we built a custom Corian countertop in our shop, making sure the fit and flow were just right for the space. Thoughtful planning, solid craftsmanship, and a kitchen that feels like them.

Proud to wrap up another meaningful commercial project 💪
We took a 6,800 SF physical therapy clinic and transformed it into two fully functional spaces—a 4,200 SF adult PT clinic and a dedicated pediatric therapy clinic designed specifically for kids.
