The last part of that AC duct job for my good friends and clients with the mechanics shop. I remounted all the lights as when they removed the wall, they also removed the drop ceiling. I also mounted and rewired the light switches.
Another satisfactory job and happy clients.

So this is the job that I've been working the last couple days for some good friends and clients of mine who run a mechanic shop.
After they had a wall removed to make room for more vehicle lifts, they asked me to remove the unused AC ducts and cap them off as well as the unused air returns.
I also upgraded their break room duct from a 6 inch to a 10 inch, and the bathroom from a tiny little 4 inch to a 12 inch square insulated duct into a 8 inch round duct , so now their break room and bathroom are ice cold.
These are the before and after pictures. They're very happy with the outcome of the job.

# # Sink/Garage Disposal Part 2 # # #

So I picked up a new garbage disposal from home depot, installed it today and repiped the drains. Filled both sinks with water and let her rip. No leaks, the garbage disposal is working fine and the dishwasher drain is actually hooked up directly to the disposal as it should be (it wasn't with the old unit). So, another satisfactory job and happy new client.

This is another job for the same client with the water line leak. They also had a water leak underneath the kitchen sink. Again, someone previously "Repaired" the leak (Caulked-see photos), but they did a lousy job. The garbage disposal was shot as well.
Picked up this new Moen for them.

A little job I started the other day and finished today for my newest client. They had a tiny pinhole leak on the top of the hot water line (apparently it had been repaired previously). Cut out the drywall, cut the top of the copper pipe, sanded, cleaned and put a new Sharkbite cap on. Good as new. Left the wall open for a couple days to dry out and covered it up today. No tape or mud, that way they have water line access if needed. Another satisfactory job and happy new client.

Here's a quick job from Tuesday for an older woman. She wanted this area dug out some, leveled a little bit and relayed the old lava rocks so water could drain out to the rear of the house. Another satisfactory job and happy new client.

Before and after pictures from my first job yesterday. Removing the storm door old brickmoulding that was rotted, installed new brickmoulding and reinstalled the storm door. Another satisfactory job and happy new client as well.
