KITCHEN COMPLETION! My client and I first met over a year ago, when she shared her dreams for her new construction home—especially the heart of the home, the kitchen. We talked about function, finishes, and fixtures thinking through the layout that would best suit her and her husband along with welcome guests and sweet grandkids. The design phase took place next with meetings and refining of plans. Now, fast forwarding months later, she is living her dream in her new home! There are so many features I love about this home, but just as it is with my client, the kitchen has my heart.

Who wouldn’t want to fold laundry in this amazing multi-purpose laundry room? My client wanted to have fun in this space with beautiful blues and patterns. The subtle wallpaper above her desk adds a nice layer to the room making bill paying bearable. Gorgeous lighting illuminates the space. And, what great storage!

This kitchen renovation transformed an early 1900’s space into a brighter, more functional gathering place for such an amazing family. By enclosing an unused doorway and shifting the refrigerator, we were able to expand the cabinetry and introduce a new island for additional workspace and seating. Upper cabinets now extend to the 11-foot ceilings, giving the room a stronger architectural presence while maximizing storage.

With improved natural light and added recessed lighting throughout, the kitchen now feels open, welcoming, and ready to serve as the heart of the home.

KITCHEN RENOVATION DESIGN PLAN

This kitchen originally had a large 10’ peninsula that split the space into a kitchen and breakfast nook. To maximize openness and create a truly great place to gather, I reimagined the layout—removing the peninsula, repurposing existing cabinetry, and introducing a stunning 9’ double island with plenty of seating and smart storage.

Beyond function, my client is fun-loving and wanted something a little unexpected. The coffee bar quickly became my favorite feature, with playful, gorgeous wallpaper and gold-railed shelves that add personality and charm. It’s a space designed to spark joy every single morning—especially with a cup of coffee in hand. ☕✨

KITCHEN RENO REVEAL

What was once a boxed-in, tired kitchen is now the heart of the home for an incredible couple. By opening up the space, adding a large island, and rethinking storage, this kitchen was transformed into something both beautiful and highly functional.
