Pain into Healing!

Yesterday marked one year that Vance Peek was killed on the corner of Arroya and Loop #338. There has been a lot of work and action that has taken place in one year to honor and memorialize this young man. His club requested to put a cross on the corner of Yard Dog’s property. Instead, with the help of Alternative MC, a memorial garden was planned, built, planted and cultivated to give Vance’s daughter and family a place to come, honor and remember. The results have given purpose and peace to a time of pain and loss. A Memorial Ride following Vance’s last ride ended at the place and time from one year ago. The club presented his daughter with a beautiful quilt with motorcycle emblems on one side and fabric pictures of her with her daddy on the other. Yard Dog hosted the riders and families with refreshments. Cookies by Melanie were served. Yard Dog thanks the club, the family, friends, brothers and sisters of Vance Peek for letting us be a part of their healing. God is Good!
