Has anyone tried growing tomatoes THIS early? This guy said he’ll have tomatoes by the end of May.

You plant and the cover with a bucket that has it’s bottom cut out, then cover with dirt to the top of the bucket.

Place a piece of wood over the top of the temperature dips too low.

He said he planted the 2nd of March.

Today we’ve gone red for “National Wear Red Day”; bringing awareness to the number one killer of women: cardiovascular disease.

Gardening has been shown to improve cardiovascular health by:
-lowering blood pressure
-lowering stress
-lowering cortisol
-reducing the risk of heart disease by 12% (for one hour a week; 37% for more than two hours a week)
-improves eating habits by consuming healthy foods which you’ve grown
-great aerobic and strengthening exercise

Looks like gardening isn’t just for growing food, it’s for helping take care of the hearts that take care of us.
