Salary: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (with potential for overtime)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Journeyman Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in carpentry, including rough and finish carpentry work, framing, roofing, siding, cabinetry, concrete forms, and trim work. As a Journeyman Carpenter, you will work closely with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and to a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform rough and finish carpentry, including framing, roofing, siding, trim, cabinetry, and concrete formwork.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately.
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood, metal, concrete forms, and other materials.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, roofing systems, exterior siding, and concrete forms.
• Ensure all work is completed according to building codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete tasks efficiently.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Troubleshoot and provide solutions to carpentry-related issues on the job site.
Qualifications:
• Journeyman-level experience (3-5+ years) as a Carpenter, including experience with concrete forms and framing.
• Proficiency in the use of power and hand tools.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and building processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform strenuous tasks, including working at heights.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education & Certifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
