This is the home remodeling project Im most proud of to date, finished in 2022. I remember working for my dad as a kid being a laborer/helper, and I looked up to the lead carpenters then thinking that I to, wanted to be a lead carpenter someday that built these cool projects on my own. I can say that 100% of this bathroom remodel was done all with my two hands. from the demo, framing, drywall, waterproofing, tile install, finish work, etc. Not everyday is sunshine, but I feel lucky when ever I get to be apart of a cool project like this one and finally, get to build cool things on my own 🙂

I really enjoyed reading this article because it’s about a place with a strong connection with the city of Lansing, people in the building trades from Lansing, and because I frequently went to see Chris with my plumbing issues I had while I was the maintenance man for a few years at an apartment building close to his shop when I was fresh out of high school. The author of this article did a great job writing this and what he describes I also experienced, exactly that. I eventually stopped working at those apartments and haven't seen Chris since then which is around 20 years ago, but I do remember after I became a familiar face to him in his shop and I think excepted by him as
another working class kinda guy 🙂 He made
me feel like one of the cool kids in his club
every time I came to his shop And asked him
for help with a plumbing issue I had. Sad to
hear Chris, and Jake's plumbing are gone.

Here is a large deck in East Lansing MI, that I Knoy Construction just built using Azek composite Deck materials, and Westbury aluminum handrails. Both products I 100% approve of and really hope to use again soon. Thank you Mahler for connecting Kevin and Anne winters with me to be apart of this project, it was a good one.
