If you have constant itchy ears... You may have ear mites. Yes... Humans can get ear mites. Dogs and cats get them but it's also quite possible for humans to get them too.
My ears have been itchy for quite some time... And I clean them often and have used hydrogen peroxide etc to clean them and there's rarely very much wax or other debris.
So I looked into ear mites, which are microscopic so it makes sense that I wouldn't see them on q-tips...
So I decided to try Neem oil with castor oil (ratio is mostly castor oil) as a treatment. I dipped a q-tip in the mixture and then into my ear for the past 3 nights.
Guess what! My itchy ear days are over!
I will continue this for 3 weeks to be sure.
But this kind of treatment would be necessary for the ears because there's very little blood supply to the ear canal.
I'm also experimenting with this mixture in my nostrils for the nasal allergies I have dealt with for many years. Again this is an area that has very little blood supply so topical treatment is necessary. That has also improved but not gone completely as it's been chronic for a long time.
