There was absolutely nothing wrong with this kitchen:

It was well built, well maintained, and had plenty of life left in it. But every time our client walked into the space, it felt too dark, and the layout didn’t work for the way his family actually lived.

His wish list was pretty clear: remove the peninsula in favor of a large island where the whole family could gather, brighten the room with high-gloss white cabinetry, add hidden allllllllllll of the hidden accessories, and let the Crystallo quartzite be the star of the show.

One of my favorite parts of this project is something you can’t even see! We were able to keep the sink in its original location, which meant the plumbing stayed exactly where it was while completely transforming the kitchen. Those are the kinds of behind-the-scenes decisions that can make a renovation simpler, more efficient, and more cost-effective.
The end result is brighter, more open, and designed around the way this family actually lives.

Every family is different, and every home should reflect the people who live in it. My job isn’t to recreate the same kitchen over and over again. It’s to listen, solve problems, and create spaces that fit YOU.

Not what’s trending, not what’s all over Pinterest, not what the neighbors or Jones are doing.

What an incredible week.

Frank and I had the opportunity to attend Pipeline’s M2 Week and the Innovators Gala, and we’re walking away inspired by the people we met, the ideas we heard, and the companies we had the privilege of learning about. It was fascinating to hear entrepreneurs share their journeys, watch founders pitch their businesses, and get a glimpse into the innovation and determination that go into building something from the ground up.

A huge thank you to for creating a space that celebrates entrepreneurship, collaboration, and growth. Events like these remind us how much talent, creativity, and resilience exist within the entrepreneurial community!

And of course, a special congratulations and thank you to our friend, CEO of Pipeline, Melissa Vincent for inviting us to be part of it. We were so proud to support you during such an exciting milestone and loved seeing all of the hard work that went into making the week such a success. To know you is to love you, and to be near you is inspiring. Thank you for sharing your goodness with the world.

The gala itself was absolutely beautiful, but the people were what made it memorable. We had a wonderful time connecting with so many passionate founders, innovators, and business leaders, and we’re excited to follow along as these companies continue to grow.

Can you keep a secret? 🤫 I don’t actually watch basketball.

But I’m always ready to Thunder Up!

I’ve never lived in a city that is so deeply proud of its people, its teams, its artists, its makers, and the things that come from here. Oklahoma City has this rare way of showing up for its own, and it’s one of the things that made this place feel like home to me.

It’s clean, it’s welcoming, and the people here are genuinely kind in a way that still catches me off guard sometimes. People will go out of their way to help a stranger, cheer on a small business, celebrate local talent, and make you feel like you belong.

There’s something really special about being surrounded by people who cheer so loudly for each other. Not just during a game, but in everyday life too. OKC has this steady, heartfelt pride that makes you want to be part of it.

So no, I may not know every stat or watch every game… but after nearly a decade in Oklahoma City, the Thunder are still my team because OKC is my home.
