It’s been one month..
Tonight I went to Pops place for the first time since... I can’t even say it. I needed to go see mom and pick up a couple things and of course I couldn’t do it by myself so I made the kids go with me. While there I asked mom for this coat he’s wearing. I put it on just for “me” reasons and felt something inside left breast pocket and when I reached in to see what it was, I found a Blue Valley Baptist pen and a one mint. Made me laugh… he always passed out mints to all the kids

Today was the first day of my life without my Dad...
Where do I even start? Ive had to learn how to continue life without friends before, but how do you learn to live your life without your longest and oldest Best friend? How do you put into words the life that he has given me? How do I put into words the pain that this loss has caused me? You are my hero and I am destroyed, but I promise you to continue to make you proud and raise up my family in a way that you taught me. I promise to take care of your wife as the Lord commands me to do so.
I am truly the man I am today because of you and look forward to seeing you one day again. I love you, Dad....
