Some of you may know that I resurrected an old Missouri heirloom from the 50’s last year called Mozark. I personally have ties to Missouri because I was born and raised there. In my rabbit hole a few years ago on Mozark I came across information on another amazing tomato from the 50’s that I just knew I had to bring back to life for the general public called Mosage. And so I went on my hunt, including asking multiple trusted seed friends about it and sending them the archive link… Well, I was lucky enough to obtain seeds from the national GRIN seed archive and I am excited to announce that I will be growing and distributing seeds for MOSAGE this season! My passion for tomatoes stems from old heirlooms and being able to resurrect our grandparents favorites is a dream come true! This one holds a special place in my heart. More information to come on this one in the near future!!! 😱🍅❣️

I have some exciting news to share!

I have teamed up with the tomato breeder, Steve Whiteaker at Double Helix Farms and my good friends at Home Grown In Illinois and Bounty Hunter Seeds to grow out some of Steve’s amazing, unreleased tomato varieties!

Steve has spent a lifetime on tomato genetics and breeding some fantastic tomato varieties! I am excited to be learning from him and to be a part of this partnership at the same time!

You will be able to find brand new releases this coming season from Samantha at Home Grown In Illinois. All 3 of us will also be stabilizing and releasing F3-F6 for future season releases! It’s great to be working with other trusted vendors and friends! Make sure to follow us all for updates in this exciting Double Helix project! ❣️

I just want to thank everyone for supporting me! I never imagined 5 yrs ago that I would be able to spread my love of heirloom tomato & pepper seeds all over the world. I’ve sprinkled seeds to over 50 countries! It makes me smile every time I look at my world map on my wall and see all my little tomato stickers covering almost every region! My cup runneth over! 🥰

Hi all. You might notice a slight name change in my shop. I will now be using Val’s Heirloom Seeds. I secured the domain name and I am currently running it through my Etsy shop. I will be working on better photos and descriptions after this next growing season for any of my new 2026 varieties that I will offer. Stay tuned! Thanks for the continued support!
