Here's my last post of the Tablescapes.
I'm sharing a Dessert Tablescape that a sweet friend of mine invited and asked me to come up with for a video of hers on her page, Amelia's Boutique.

I switched out my deer and Mercury candle sticks for a Concrete Angel and just using a couple of the cylinder vases I had on the other setting.
By switching out the Charcuterie tray with an antique silver tray I had more room for my Angel, her wings made her wider. I also placed some vintage hard cover books to raise the vase, by doing this it gave me a bit more room so I could push the vase back so it wouldn't clang on the Angel's wings.

I placed the rest of the Tin Snowflakes on the table that I previously used on top of the candlesticks.
I moved the small tiered cookie tray to the left front side to add more room and to balance out my table.
This also makes for a little more simple Tablescape.

I've added a small flower arrangement to the Angel's gathered skirt by using a votive holder so it would contain a water supply for the flowers.

I also added a few more ornaments and some different sized silver pine cones to the greenery and centerpiece for a bit more sparkle and color.
I scattered holiday kisses to the top of the tray for another layer and color.

So what's with the Golden Oreos? I found these done on Pinterest but for a different occasion. I decided I needed to do these but with using the Holiday colors. So I dipped them in white chocolate and placed them on parchment paper in rows. Next I melted green and red chocolate melts and poured that into frosting bags (you can use sandwich bags just the same then cut off the tip of the bag just a tiny bit) then go across the whole row of cookies at the same time. I added a little sparkle to mine with an edible glitter dust. ( I love to add this to just about to anything I bake.) These will dry in minutes and your good to go!

Lastly I added an embellishment to the table skirt. I gathered the long ends of the table cloth added some fresh pine, white hydrangea and a rose, ( these last 2 items got a water pick, the greenery can last for a while without a water supply.)tied them off with a satin ribbon and it added the final touch.

I hope you've enjoyed the Tablescapes a few tricks and the subtle switches.

I wish all of you have very Merry Holiday and a Happy and Beautiful New Year!

Happy Holidays everyone!
I'm back with a Dessert Buffet.
So Dawn and I from Amelia's Boutique who was so sweet to invite me to talk about Tablescapes on her Amelia's Boutique page Live talks . We talked not only about dining setting but also a possible Dessert setting. So I did both! I love desserts!

So I will show you a couple different ways by changing or adding to your Tablescape what difference the appearance can be.

For this 1st one I used my white sparkly deer added a second charcuterie tray to the base. I switched out my glass cake plate that I used on the dining table setting to taller dipping bowls to raise my levels higher in the center and so I could add another plate of goodies on the table to go underneath the top charcuterie tray.
I then added 3 cylinder glass vases and filled them with 2 different items one has peppermint candies and the other 2 have fresh cranberries. I inverted a drinking glass into the bottoms of each vase then poured my candies and cranberries over them. This took up volume in the vase so I didn't have to go run out for more filler.
I added Mercury candle sticks to the setting and placed a Tin Snowflake on top of that before I placed my candles on top. I love doing something like this. It adds a different layer and a bit of whimsy. I then scattered some of the snowflakes on the table.
I added some greenery, ornaments, berries and little fresh flower arrangements for a bit of color and fresh pine sent. Thanks for visiting my page. I've got one more switch out to show you.
Have a nice day.

Happy Holidays, I'm adding to my Tablescape pictures.
The theme of this Tablescape was chosen with my friend Dawn at Amelia's Boutique in Overland Park Kansas. She invited me to do a video with her on her page. We chose French Country/Traditional. I kinda melted them together for fun.
So, I wanted this to be a Tablescape everyone could feel comfortable around whether your guests wanted to dress up or wear something more casual it's a win win for all. So I brought in a little bit of the outdoors in. I used a wood tones and natural elements like the wood chargers and Sugar cones, then I mixed it up with a bit of sparkle the Mercury candle sticks.

Here is a simple change to the table by tucking in the Mini Poinsettias into the center it adds a bit more of a pop of color! I added these small vase arrangements to the place settings as the party favors for guests with fresh white hydrangea red roses and rose sprays with a touch of greenery in this fun clear vase I found.

Side note:
If you use multiple deer or something that would show one way, say a Santa or Snowmen turn one the opposite direction so your guest on the opposite side of the table have something fun to look at.

Yep I forgot the soup spoon oopsy!
The other thing I did was change the position of the water and wine glass. I like wine and I like a larger glass for my water so I placed them according to size /and my personal preference! Lol!

Happy Holidays! I wanted to thank everyone who had a moment and a chance to watch the video about Holiday Tablescapes that my friends at Amelia's Boutique in Overland Park Kansas invited me to do with them. On Dec. 14.
Thank you also to those who shared the video with there friends. It's such a nice compliment.

I want to share some pictures of the pre video I took. In the video we set up on an 8ft portable table, which I thought turned out really fun I also want to show you with a little more room but presented on a dining room table what that might look like.
I also will show different pictures of what simple changes could do to a Tablescape.
Let's start with the dining setting.
Using mini poinsettias in votive holders to finish the look for your guest's favors. Your friends can also use the votive holders later. Everyone doesn't have to have the same favor I picked Party Poppers for the hosts, you can have your guests poppers on the dessert buffet.
I'll try to explain the difference in the photos as I post.
I hope you enjoy these!
