s, houseplants, shrubs and trees. We also provide a range of beautiful combos, pottery, garden art and unique gifts, and select soil amendments. We are known for our selection of natives and pollinator plants, as well as our massive Boston Fern and flowering baskets. Our spring season runs from March through June, our fall season runs from mid-September through mid October, and we have several weekend events throughout the rest of the year. Sceloporus undulatus - 2/10, how dare you
Saururus cernuus - 9/10, simply delightful

S. cernuus aka Lizard’s Tail aka Breast W**d (yes, really) is a beautiful ground cover for moist areas, bogs, rain gardens, and shallow edges of ponds. Great for restoring wetland habitat. The lovely curved blooms have a light sweet fragrance, and the lush foliage produces a sassafras scent when crushed. The roots and leaves were used medicinally by Native Americans in a poultice to soothe swollen breasts and other inflammations. It is a host plant to the Buffalo Moth, and the blooms attract and provide nectar for a wide variety of native bees, dragonflies and butterflies.

We have so many unique varieties (including combos) of portulaca this spring! 30% off this week—only $14 for overflowing, brilliantly colored baskets! We love portulaca for its hardiness—it can take hot sun all day, and if you forget to water it for a week, it won’t kick the bucket! The blooms open with the sun, and close when rainy or dark.

Also 30% off this week: all geranium baskets, caladiums, Blonde Boston Ferns, Variegated Swedish Ivy, and Japanese Holly Ferns!
