Before the drawings are finalized or construction begins, it starts here — walking the existing space together, reviewing layouts in real time, discussing how the home should function, feel, and ultimately live.

This preliminary site visit brought together our team, the interior designer, and the clients to refine ideas, make intentional revisions, and thoughtfully shape the vision from the very beginning.

There’s something about a room like this that changes the entire energy of a home.

Tucked just off the foyer and connecting through the main hall beside the kitchen, this lounge was designed to feel like a hidden moment within the home — intimate, moody, and layered with character.

We leaned fully into the drama here with color-drenched walls, deep blue cabinetry, aged brass, soft velvet, smoky glass, and warm wood tones to balance it all out. Every texture was intentionally layered to make the room feel rich and enveloping without ever feeling heavy.

One of my favorite details is the arched opening framing the bar. It gives the entire space this old-world, tucked-away feeling while still staying connected to the heart of the home.

And honestly… every home needs a lounge.
Not a formal sitting room that never gets used — a space designed for conversation, music playing in the background, late-night cocktails, and slowing down a little.

This may be my favorite room from the entire renovation. 🤍

Most people walk through this foyer without realizing there’s a full home office hidden in the wall paneling. That was the entire idea.

From the oversized archway and custom trim work to the marble inlay floor and white oak staircase, every detail was designed to feel clean, timeless, and architectural.

The concealed office door disappears directly into the millwork, keeping the symmetry of the foyer completely uninterrupted while still creating a functional private workspace.

It’s details like this that make a full home renovation feel truly custom.

There’s something really special about designing spaces that grow with a family.

Upstairs, just off the main bedrooms, we carved out this quiet little zone—three dedicated homework alcoves, each one giving the kids a place to focus, create, and call their own. But the real win? It’s not just for homework.

It’s where books stay open a little longer, where Lego builds take over the afternoon, and where independence starts to take shape in small, everyday moments.

We kept the palette soft and grounded—warm wood, tailored millwork, and subtle lighting—so the space feels calm but still intentional. Nothing overdesigned, just thoughtful details that make it work hard for real life.

Because the best rooms aren’t just beautiful… they’re the ones that actually get used.
